Hi to all/My 1st post & of course need help/possibly will show level of incompetence
 

I am not computer literate, obviously from my question I'm sure, but after a week of using limewire, I'm not sure which songs/length are best for my computer in downloading. I don't have a clue as to what T1-T3 are, as well as bitrate, and wondering if it affects the way a song sounds after downloaded, as it seems so to me at least sometimes. Also, since I am on a 256k modem/phone line connection, and use windows xp, if I should be using a particular one or the other for the best download in my case. Also, does the file size of a song, which varies in each of the above diff. T1-T3, cable/bitrate, affects anything or not. Anyway, I thank any/everyone in advance for their help in explaining this to a pretty much computer illiterate user. Thanks again, Lori
