I downloaded limwire early in November...I even purchased the Pro version...but I don't think that is the download I recieved. Every time I log in it asks me to upgrade to Pro...so I got online to limewire.com to try and re-download it...it asks me to put in my email...and it says it does not recognize it...it is the only email I have...They charged my account $49.95 on 11-11, but I can't get through to ask a question because they don't recognize my email...there is no customer service phone number..so I'm stuck.....Does anyone know what happened and how I might go about fixing the problem? I just want what I paid for. I was charged by CLKBANK.COM...HELP....PLEASE

You were scammed. Pro costs $21.95 for 6 months worth of free updates & email support, or $34.95 for a year's worth. The only official site is Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « (will show on your CC statement as payment to LIMEWIRE LLC).

If you've bought Pro from a scam site, your email address won't ever be in the official database & so it won't ever be recognised when you try to download a Pro installer.

If you got an email/receipt after buying LW, go back to that & check who you paid for Pro. Call your bank/CC company & report this.

i've been useing it with no problem until now.doesn't recognize my email.

How long ago did you buy Pro, who did you pay (check the vendor on your CC statement) & how much did you pay for Pro?

about 4 to 5 months ago and payed $19.95
and also i don't recall it having a time span then.
it didn't say anything about 6 months or a year
it just said pay this for pro.
as far as finding the payment i got o find out how i payed it on credit or bank card.

So...it sounds like you didn't buy Pro from the official site. In that case, your email address wouldn't be in the official database & that's why it won't be recognised. Only people who've bought from the official site can download Pro installers from that site.
