Default Help with connecting (PRO)

Just downloaded pro. Been using Limewire for over a year on the basic platform. Never had any problems. But this morning did a system restore on my computer its self and decided i wanted pro this time. So yea re downloaded LimeWire and then switched to pro but no I cant connect. Says down in bottom left corner of my limewire starting connection but its been saying that for a hour. Tried to find a fire wall but I dont even think i have one. Running windows xp and went to control pannel and switched to classic like the trouble shoot thing said to do but still no firewall icon. Can anyone help me out?

Every time i try to delete the .limewire thing and then open limewire back up its not there cause it deletes limewire. It pops up like unable to find file browse or cancel. Dont get why this morning when I had basic and before I did system resore I could connect just fine but not now. Still have not found a firewall on my pc but it says that limewire detects a firewall...

I have windows XP home version,
Plenty of space
use cable internet has a black modem that cable wire connects to then a ethernet cord to pc.

Default Got it fixed Thanks to birdy

Finally got it working and have turbo charged connection now thanks birdy and other post's i sorted through.

Guess my setup is a bit diffrent found my limewire file i needed to delete in my computer, C:, Documents and settings, Main user, then application files, Limewire. Deleted limewire and that ran LW, Did the setup thing again didnt work then went back to my limewire file and delted the gnutella file and downloaded that other one saved it desktop and then opened that limewire file in applications once again and delted other gnutella that came with LW and dragged the new gnutella into the limewire folder and then ran LW now its fully connected with turbo charged connection....

Thanks again
Now im off to have some fun.
