Hi,
I just downloaded the new 4.16 version of the free Limewire, and after many years of use with no "surprises", I see that now a new folder called Limewire is created in "my document" folder.
I cannot delete it or moving this to another folder on my choice.

How comes we have this issue now. I would like to decide myself, where file and folders can be placed....

Any workaround/solution for this? If not I will move back to the older version.

Are you sure that the folder's not within C:\Documents and Settings\your username?

The saving & sharing default locations are different in the latest versions & there's now a LimeWire Shared & LimeWire Saved folder.

If the folder you're seeing is a saved or shared folder, you can try changing that location from within LW's tools > options > saving, or tools > options > sharing.

Otherwise, go to this other forum (where a developer might answer your question). I haven't found any undeletable/unmovable folders in the new version but if you're having that problem, this other forum's the place to ask.

this folder appeared first time right after I installed verion 4.16...

Wi ALL previous version the folder was not there.

I did what you suggested about moving it elsewhere, but it did not help.
