![]() So I've been uninstalling, reinstalling, redownloading and all those things that are fun and dandy; but limewire just doesn't want to work or open. The icon on the right-hand corner displays but when I double-click it; limewire doesn't open, and when I right click it I don't get a menu from it at all. When I use the desktop shortcut it'll open limewire but it wont find an internet connection. I've also made sure that my firewall doesn't block it and I still can't get a connection. Weirdest thing for me is when I go over to my friend's house, limewire works fine (i'm on a dail-up connection, the friend is on a broadband connection) |

![]() If your LW isn't connecting, try the fix here first...it's a really old post but a few people have recently found that it's solved their problem ![]() For those who can't connect If that doesn't help, there are other fixes to try in the thread below. Just remember to have LW properly closed before replacing gnutella.net file & deleting preferences folder. Also, when replacing Java versions, remember to have only 1 version of Java installed at a time. If LW Will Not Connect If nothing there helps at all, post back with your system details. |
