can't find downloaded files Hi clever people out there in cyberspace, I have set my iTunes music folder as the download destination. the first time i downloaded files they went there. Today I downloaded about 5 new files and this time, when they were downloading they wouldnt preview (the previous ones would) and when they said they were 100% downloaded, I couldnt find them anywhere in iTunes. When I hit the "launch" button, LW said that the file could not be found, although it was looking in my iTunes music and it cited the correct name of the file. Any idea where they could have gone? How could I look for them? Or did they not download in the first place? Bibi:confused: |
Check http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...downloads.html as changes have been made for windows users. I haven't used the new version on windows so can't test your issue. My new computer has taken over 3 weeks to arrive & still waiting. :( One point I will make though is sometimes LW can be fussy about launching files if the files are not being shared. As for iTunes, I don't necessarily agree with the idea of downloading directly to the iTunes music folder but some people do it with success. Make sure iTunes settings are to keep all files in its library. And re-launch iTunes after new songs have downloaded. That should help force iTunes to re-organise it's library so the songs are properly recognised & organised. |
Oh thanks Lord, I accidentally found ALL my LW downloaded songs in a playlist conveniently named 'Limewire' in my playlist column. How cool is that? |
People who have that setting enabled under the iTunes options on their LW will see a LW playlist in iTunes. :) |
