Help! I used to be able to connect but now I can't
 

I have had Lime Wire for years and downloaded (and shared) thousands of files. All of a sudden today I get the "Starting Connection" thing in the bottom left and I can't get past it.

Why is this???

8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.4.16.6pro java1.6.0_03
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?bellsouth

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled?no idea

16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country (eg Clearwire in the USA & also in Ireland).usa

Not a reply but the same problem !!! Nothing changed i.e. same computer, same software, same provider etc etc etc, In the past the window with "connecting bla bla " used to appear foe a minute or two then disappear and the connection would work. NB same provider THE THING WILL NOT WORK.

Forgot to mention this is going on since one week. Everything else working normally, I even uninstalled the firewall no go PLEASE HELP !!!
