I've been using LW for 2 years now, and I've never had any connecting problems at all. Suddenly it won't connect. There's only one light in the connecting-indicator. I've tried to re-install LW, I've restored defaults, but still no connection. My Internet is working just fine, I'm using Antivir firewall, but that has never caused me any trouble with LW before. I'm running XP. I don't understand why it suddenly can't connect. Can anybody help me?

Hi, I'm having the EXACT same problem suddenly as well. I've also used LW for about 2 years, never a problem, same computer, same modem, same antivirus and firewall but have been unable to connect for the past 3 days now. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times with no success. I tried the fix that is mentioned in one of the previous threads but I don't think I'm doing it correctly and don't think I understand the instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Have you tried disabling all options under performance? Tools > Options > Advanced > Performance. Then go to file menu > Disconnect, wait 2 mins, then choose connect.
