I just bought a new laptop and am trying to download Limewire to it for the first time. I originally purchased Limewire Pro in March of 06 and have been using it just fine on the original laptop it was downloaded to. When the site asks for the email address you purchased the version under, I type in my addy and it says that it's not found. I am 100% sure this is the correct address, I still have the confirmation with the link. I know you're never supposed to have to repurchase the Pro version... but my email address isn't being found, and the link in the old email isn't working anymore. Could someone please help with this? I'm not even able to write support because of this. Thanks in advance.

Your email has been removed because your account expired 6 months after you first purchased it. During that 6 months you could have redownload it as many times as you like, after that you have to repurchase it or d/load the Basic version.

Your right that you don't have to repurchase Pro after you've already bought it, but your also responsible for maintaining the copy you have. You should have made a copy of it from your old computer, either onto a disc, or an external hdd or something.

Your either gonna have to repurchase it or d/load the Basic version.
