 | Installing Problem - Limewire |(needs a link to open with) Hi, I thought i'd download Limewire as all the latest songs are impossible to get otherwise. When i go to the installation by double-clicking the Limewire setup, it comes up with a window that says it 'Needs a link to open with'. What link can i use?  I don't use windows often nowadays. But that looks odd. lol  Ignore that file!!! Download this version instead: http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe BUT, before you open it, first install Java: Download Java software from Sun Microsystems choose the OFFLINE java installer which is about 15 MB in size.  BTW if you get that message again suggesting to open with FireFox, ignore it and press cancel. Just go to your desktop or wherever the file was downloaded to, double-click it to open the installer.  |
