Everytime i try to download limewire i get a msg saying the the installer is corrupt or incomplete (says at the top NSIS error) is this a mcafee issue or windows vista and how do i fix it??

Is this the first time you have tried to download limewire or have you uninstalled an old version and now are trying to reinstall ?????

If you are trying a reinstall follow these tips...

The correct way to uninstall is Start > All programs > Limewire/Uninstaller

Use your computer's search to look for all files & folders with limewire in the name. If you can't delete them, reboot into safe mode & then try. If they still won't delete, try one of the tools here...
Incomplete Download File won't delete at all.

If that doesn't fix your problem you will need to start fresh using the offline installers for both Limewire and Java...

If the latest update of Java gives you any problems, try this older version, which has worked well for lots of people: Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
Whichever Java version you use, download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions (via Add/Remove Programs) before installing another one.
