 Help!!!Please! (LW vanished after system restore) I had limewire basic before but when I did a system restore it was gone and I cant play dvds on my computer now either.Now when I download it I double click on the desktop shortcut but nothing happens, I have uninstalled it and run a search it is totally uninstalled but I have tried and I cant get it to work does anyone have a suggestion? Please.  |

| Reinstalling LW. Doing a system restore of course has its drawbacks. Loss of ones program preferences is one of those sacrifices.  Think first, then act.  Example: backing up one's preferences or certain folders or files onto an external device before doing a system restore just in case. A system restore is a reasonably major tactic, so make sure you are prepared for the potential of loss of files or preferences after doing it (since the restore date). |
