Limewire connection probs

Used Limeware for ages. This week connection probs. I have checked all my firewall software and checked to ensure Limewire Program 'allowed'. Have uninstalled and installed Limewire and checked manual and other similar FAQs. I'm only get a small green bar on connectivity and I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help please? Thank you
