 limewire not working - frustrated! (trouble downloading & installing) i have an hp laptop and i use openoffice. i went here to download the basic limewire, and saved it to my desktop. it says "99%" has uploaded, but when i go to my desktop it says "LimeWireOthers" and then i double click it and it says LimeWire -> File Folder. double click that and it says root -> and a bunch of other things. idk what to do / click next to get to the music! help??   |

| Which Operating system are you using? If using Windows, then download & install 'this' offline version http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe If using Linux or similar, then you will need to download the 'Other' version. You need to have the most recent version of Java on your operating system first before using the above installer. Download Java software from Sun Microsystems & choose the Offline installer.   |

| idk what im using i think like windows vista but i downloaded some openoffice. does that make a difference? |
