Sorry, but that *is* the default download link on the homepage. ("Download LimeWire") At least it's the homepage that I'm presented by Safari. If they're doing funky re-directs, you may see something different. But that is the *default* homepage DL link that I'm presented by Safari. |

How did you find this link? Did you google it or ... ? Google 'might' have given a direct link. I think Google is a highly irresponsible company for many reasons, including allowing spammers to advertise through their services. Money talks in fine language with google. |

yes you are right. First time I've seen that happen at LW. Still has a warning at bottom-right for OSX users on that first page before you click on the Download LimeWire link. But I will have a word with them again to nag them. See if they can make any changes. |

That warning was NOT there when I posted this problem last week. It's a start, but still insufficient. It's still way too easy to get screwed up. They need to fix their installer to make it work in a competent fashion. In the meantime, it's a joke -- on Mac users, unfortunately... |
