Do I have to click on each individual song to see file type?

Top right of screen, click the tab that gives you Classic view for search results. For both Classic view, Library & P2P Network windows, right-click the column heading bar & choose to show what you wish.

Some tips here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...ire-4-5-a.html. For Classic view, probably choose Extension for what you desire.
