OOB Searching? Ok, some people might think "stupid question", probably is, but i need to know... WHAT EXACTLY IS OUT-OF-BOUND SEARCHING? I mean, i know it probly is exactly what it says on the tin "It seaches out of bounds", but where is "Out-of-Bounds", Jupiter's Gnutella Network or something? Can i please get a clear explanation on what this term is, and more importantly, can it increase or decrease bandwith depending on your type of connection, and i will be very appreciative, Thank you, The Shiekh |
Hope this helps :) http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...eally-get.html and especially http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...25976-oob.html My understanding was that most searches search the same language & cultural areas ... whereas OOB helps delve into others. I must have been confusing with an option that used to be in the much earlier LW versions. About - Lime Wire might help with a few other terms. ;) |
hey Lord, thanks for the links, ill check 'em out :) Happy Gnutellering |
