Have connected but nothing happening

Hi, as above.......had previous limewire and installed 5. I have full
connection but as soon as My Library starts loading, it freezes. I've tried uninstall/install......can anyone help, i never had this trouble with the older version.....
Just says loading at bottom of main part of screen.
I'm using XP
