Default Purchased @ LW 12/28/08 1:25pm

Confirmation #B84CC000C8BB $34.95 expires 12/29/09.

Currently using Windows Vista if that matters.

Tried to log in to download PRO to a new computer and it doesn't recognize the email (I think) I used. The old computer crashed and I don't have any previous files.

With the above details, is there SOME WAY to advise me what email addy was used or how to download a program I should still be entitled to until December?

Thanks so much.

I've met a few people who have had problems with the installation of PRO. I am not a PRO user, so i do not know the experience of buying it and going through the process.
If you gave them the wrong email then i have no choice buit to tell you the only thing to do is to contact LimeWire.

Default Thanks, but

as far as I can tell... there is no way to contact Limewire directly. All contact requests direct you here to the forum.

Hmm...in that case, the only thing to do is to search the site for the same problem. Because someone HAS HAD the same problem as you before.
Try looking at this: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...l-address.html

I dont suppose THAT'S what you want to hear eh...

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...l-address.html

Neither apply. The first didn't purchase LW from LW. The second discusses email entered incorrectly. When I originally purchased LW on the previous computer, it did load and worked. That computer crashed, so I have no previous links or URL's to revisit. When I attempt to download LW to my current computer, I enter the only email address I remember having, and it's not recognized. I very well may have originally loaded it through another email address, but I don't know what that may have been. In other words, previous computer = previous address. This computer = new address = not recognized by LW. I'm asking the moderators to see if I can be identified as authorized by using the confirmation # since I don't know what email was originally used and have no way to track it since the old computer is gone.

1: this forum has nothing official to do with LW or any other Gnutella client...

2: you say "the first didn't purchase LW from LW"....what does that mean?...if you didn't purchase from LW then you were scammed...

When I typed "the first didn't purchase LW from LW" - it was referring to the first thread suggestion Sheik made to me wherein THAT person didn't purchase LW correctly.

I did, although probably using an email address I no longer remember. The purchase I originally made was authentic and did run.

This site is the only way I've found to make contact with anyone regarding official Limewire issues. Any attempts to contact support directly from the Limewire site link to this forum. Believe me, I'd much rather send an email to a tech and get an email in response - but Limewire doesn't seem to operate that way.

Thanks! Sent email through "other billing inquiries" also.

Have a little mercy on me... Limewire isn't even for MY use. Had downloaded it on previous computer for my daughters and have spent no less than 3 days (that I'll never get back) to find someone to answer IF I'll be able to load it again. I've wasted all this time on something I may never be able to accomplish anyway. Would just hate to pay for something twice.
