![]() Your program use to be a lot better. I unstalled LimeWire only to encounter multiple problems in a row including freezing at startup (multiple times) that results in Crtl Alt Del, freezing at Loading screen(every time) that also results in Crtl Alt Del due to not being able to click ANYTHING, as well as many connection problems that I have only read about because I haven't been able to experiance it yet due to the constant freezing on every new screen. Quite annoying, and the funny thing is, the older versions of LimeWire located on my old computer works 10 times better. Strange... |

![]() If you want to try & get LW 5 working, start off by reinstalling/updating Java. Download the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) offline installer: Java SE Downloads - Sun Developer Network (SDN) Remove any other Java versions installed via Control Panel, then install the latest Java, then restart your computer. Otherwise there are more fixes here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/333278-post2.html If nothing works then you can always keep using an older version of LW (providing that it's not too ancient ![]() ![]() |
