![]() Hi all, Ive just upgraded my OS from Vista to WIN-7 Installed LW (same version-5.3.6) and started a download, everything works fine.. My only problem is that i would like to restart my old downloads. I copied one of them into my documents/limewire/incomplete.. hoping that this would work. Unfortunately it did not.. Can anyone tell me how to restart the old downloads? Thanks legepe |

Check out post #5 here & see if that helps: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...ng-should.html That post is really aimed at people who are deleting LW's preferences folder. But providing that you've saved data from your Vista OS then you should hopefully be able to apply the same principles & move downloads/.bak info ![]() I'm not sure how to navigate to LW's preferences folder in Win 7 (I use XP). You'll need to be showing hidden files & folders first of all... the prefs folder is located within Application Data/AppData, which is hidden by default. Check out this post for the location of the folder in XP & Vista - hopefully that will give you a few clues about how to find the folder: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/115445-post1.html Maybe start by looking in the same location as for Vista. Otherwise, once you have your comp set to show hidden files & folders, do a search & look for folders named LimeWire. The prefs folder is named LimeWire & the folder that you'll need to replace (named Downloads or Downloads.bak) is located within the LimeWire folder.
