How do I specify the holding place for downloads? Hi I noticed when I specified a location for particular files saves that LW when downloading files still saves them to a new LW folder under my documents. Because disk space on my main drive is quite full some of my downloads won't complete. Only when a file is fully downloaded will LW then transfer it to my specified save location chosen for setup. Does anyone know I change the location of the holding place for LW pending downloads? Cheers |
TF As far as I can remember, if you have your "shared" and "saved" folders on your extra drive drive then your "incomplete" folder will be on that drive as well, which should solve the problem you are having. UK Bob |
Yes UKbobboy01 is correct. Wherever the download location is pointing, the incomplete folder will follow. If you split download types (categories) into different locations, the incomplete folder follows the audio downloads. :) So change the drive location of where Downloads go to. The old incompletes will still remain on the old location until they are completed however from memory. ie: LW's menu bar -> Tools -> Options -> Transfers. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/attach...d-location.gif |
