How can I purchase the pro version. From what I understand the basic will not let me download more than 100 songs. I would like to purchase the Pro however, when I tried it only allows certain credit cards and MASTERCARD is not one of them and they don't take PAYPAL either.

Do you have any other ideas as to how I might pay for this program?????

where do you get your info? Basic Limewire is a free program. There is no 100 songs restriction on it.

BC may be wrong about the LW Basic 100 songs/file limit but he is right about the limited selection of credit cards you can buy PRO with.

I've checked through my own credit cards and they are now all Mastercards, I know that at one time a CC could be both Visa and MC but things have now changed it seems that Visa has become a rare species.

Therefore, it's time that the LW Org should update its payment process to include a Mastercard facility.

Yes I could be wrong about the limit I thought it told me there was a limit but, I am glad there is not. That is great news thanks. However, I am right about the credit cards.

What a shame I cannot buy the Pro version. I use to have it and would love to get it again. Maybe one day they will allow Mastercard again. I sure hope so!

It is the same with me also. All I have is a MasterCard. What can we do about this because I want to buy it also. I don't want men in black suits and black limos driving in my driveway.

If they want people to buy Pro then they should be listening to potential customers!

If you read the thread, then you would have seen this. But I will spell it out for you and the next several people asking the exact same question.

We have Zero, zip nada, 000 control over what kind out credit/debit cards Limewire LCC i.e. NOT Gnutellaforums.com allow!!!!

If I didn't think of Mastercard as a highly professional and lucrative business, I would think they had stooped to the levels of spamming forums for more business.

Except it was Mastercard who decided they no longer wished to do business with LimeWire LLC. If it was LW who dropped M/Card then fair comment.

Buying the Pro version will not protect you from that.
(And I don't think they arrive in limos.)

So how to everyone protect themselves? I thought with buying into something like this Pro version it would help be safe.
