Yeh. Long time no see.

And many of the "old pros" are still here! Meaning "old" in the nicest possible sense of the word given my own age, of course.

I've been absent from the forum for a long time but, like all good addicts, I've been using the product until. . .

Extreme withdrawal symptoms have now been relieved. No more tremors or puking over the keyboard. . .

Thank you File-Girl!

Default Hi

That bouncing on the bed thing — inspiring.

Thought I'd try!

Your bits are conveniently out of harm's way, but what's left of my bits got caught in the springs. . .

They tried stitching — too much damage. . .

Life as a woman starts at 92.

You can download the Offline installer from the Java site directly. Just make sure you choose the Offline version which is listed 2nd on the page & is a 15.3 MB download; Java Downloads for All Operating Systems - including offline installers. After installing Java, it is best to reboot your computer. You will need to install Java first before you can run LimeWire.
If you are running Windows 7, right-click the Java offline installer after downloading & choose Run As Administrator before installing the Java. This sometimes helps for Vista and occasionally XP.

(Sample image of Java download page below, choose 2nd on list which is the Offline installer.)

Default limewire...

I haven't been to limewire..which i paid for some upgrade about 5 years ago.,for a couple of years. Then my harddrive froze up and i got a new harddrive. I don't know what version i had...or if i lost the songs i had in my library at limewire. Is there anyway to get it back? who would know? Is the pirated version an older version? Does anyone have an idea what I might have had 5 years ago? When i first went on limewire..songs would flip over to my itunes...then i got the upgraded cost money version and that quit happening...but there was two songs i got that i miss so much and i can't find it anywhere...it was by someone named clive..can't remember his last name or if that was his first name. He had something to do with producing some recording group a long time ago...something like the electric orchestra but i don't think it was that.. He had one song about paris..and he had this forelorn voice ..does anyone know or can someone look it up on limewire or tell me how to get my paid for limewire back or doesn't that work anymore.

Limewire always downloads the files to wherever you nominate on your drive. If you did not recover anything from your old drive before fitting the new, I'm sad to say you've lost whatever you had.

Clive Davies is now old but a really famous record producer. The Electric Light Orchestra has a terrific middle period. Out of the Blue, Discovery and Time are my favourites. Try looking at lists of ELOs tracks and see if anything strikes a memory chord.

Sadly, you cannot get any money back from Limewire for what you had. For this pirate version, just download and enjoy searching for what you lost.

About the java, do not worry, java is a perfectly good system used on lots of other kit. Many things you possibly do not know actually use java. If you D/L it from here it is safe and easy to use. They also have loads of other free stuff like office, I have installed it on several other people machines and it works superbly only snag is its in yank not real English.
