Default Connection problem with PRO - "Loading Internationalization Support" never finishes!

I'm running Windows Vista. I paid for, and downloaded Limewire PRO yesterday but I can't get it to connect.

It's constantly saying "Loading Internationalization Support" but, never finishes. Selecting Connect from the file menu dosen't work.

My Windows firewall is NOT activated.
My ZoneAlarm is disabled when I try to connect
I temporaraly disable my PCtools Anti-Virus........ I do all these things, but still can't get it to connect,

I'd truely appreciate any advice you can give me,

Which version of Java are you using? Try changing Java versions. You can either update to the latest version here: Java SE Downloads
or, if the latest update doesn't help, try this older version: Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
Whichever Java version you use, download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions before installing another one.

If changing Java doesn't help, delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location).
Fixes for LimeWire
This will change all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. If you're not sure of your settings, go through LW's tools > options & write them all down, so that you can reset things later.
Vista users: LimeWire Pref Folder in Vista

Which Os are you using & which version of LW?

Try updating your Java. Use the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions from your computer before you install the new one.
Java SE Downloads
If that latest Java doesn't make any difference, try this older version. Again, remove any other Java installed before you install this one.
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Also try changing compatibility...right click on the LW desktop icon > properties > compatibility. Run in compatibility mode for XP & see how that goes.

Otherwise, try reinstalling LW. Uninstall your current LW first via Start > All Programs > LimeWire > use the uninstall option (I use XP, so sorry if it's a bit different for Vista).
Now download LW again & make sure to download the offline installer. When you click on your platform to download, cancel the dialog box which pops up...now use the option to download the offline installer.

If nothing helps, you could try the latest LW Beta verison & see whether that's any better ('get Beta' button on the right side of the main download page).
Lime Wire » Download LimeWire
Remember to use the offline installer.
