Can't hear the music I am on a Dell Inspiron laptop (1501). It's running windows vista and I get my internet connection by wifi. I'm using Limewire's basic download. I have managed to download a song but I can't get it to play on my computer so I don't really know if I successfully downloaded the song or not. I've tried the FAQ's and the help section but I apparently don't know what I'm doing. I would appreciate any help you can offer. By the way this is my first ever attempt at downloading music. Thank you. |

That must have been what happened. I downloaded it and let my daughter use it. She got my laptop completely froze up. She had the program actively open about twelve times at the same time. I thought I would never get it straightened out. I guess it was slow and she thought it wasn't loading so she kept clicking on it. |

Did you use the forum search to look for answers?? Which player are you using? Have you tried different players? Check the links below. Maybe you downloaded a bad file? The second link has a link to download VLC player - it's free & has codecs installed to play most files. If VLC won't play the file then it's probably junk. songs appear to be downloaded but wont play CODECs list for Movies/Alternate players / Video help forums/ video-mp3 fixers |
