 LimeWire + Viruses? Does LimeWires some programmes spread viruses? I downloaded a video, and then internet opened and wanted to save a file. I didn't save it, pressed X and then there comes a window that says Virus spotted, wanna clean documents that have it. I pressed yes, but it can't do it. Can I still use banks, do my computer have a virus or can I get off just warning?  |

 LW doesn't spread viruses, but there are heaps of infected files being shared on the network. Sometimes people share infected files out of ignorance & sometimes companies deliberately share bad files: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...h-results.html Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see) You need to make sure that you're using a good AV (antivirus) program.
