 how do i get "friends"? (few search results) hello! i'm new to LW 5, used to use the older versions... when i'm searching for a song, i'm only getting about 3 hits, even for a very common song like something by billy ***l for example. in this new version, are you only allowed to download files from people you add, like friends, who you already know use LW? thanks! Click OK to save the change). And deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location). Fixes for LimeWire This will change all of your settings within LW's options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things to the way you like them.
