Freezes
 

I'm trying to use the latest virsion of Gnotella with Windows ME an I'll have it open for bout 10 min an it freezes everytime...Ive tried unintalling an reinstalling...Ive tried Bearshare an Limewire but I don't like them as good as Gnotella but I can't even use it cause it freezes all the time what could it be from?
I know it can't be my comp...

Common problem
 

This is a common problem with Gnotella - its file searching routines can be *really* slow. About all you can do to avoid this is either 1) Share fewer files or 2) reduce the number of connections you allow. Basically the more searches it responds to and the more files it must scan, the slower it gets.

This is unfortunate as sharing more files should be a good thing, but I hear the next version will fix this (soon I hope).

Allright kewl thanks man ive had it open for over 10 minutes now:o) I was sharing like 800 mp3's an bout 20 vidz an had it set to 15 connections always up.

My problem isn't the file searching, it's the file downloading. It simply is not happening...I wish I could download as fast as the search!!
