Why aren't active hosts letting Gnotella in?

Gnotella (Windows) Gnotella has been discontinued. We highly recommend you use an actively developed client instead.

Why aren't active hosts letting Gnotella in?

Just because the client is no longer supported, why isn't it connecting to existing active hosts?

I've tried dozens on a recent gnutella.net file and I'm getting some kind of activity, but nothing is connecting.

Does anyone have a host that has gotten Gnotella 1.0.5 to work?

Any help would be appreciated.
