Is it just me, or is this board incredibly slow to load?

I've got ADSL, so not a slow connection, but this board takes ages to load, and when it loads, half the time most of the graphics are missing. It's a pain navigating between the messages and write my own.

Am I just too far away from the server?

It's slower during peak hours, but the fact that you're in Europe probably has something to do with it too.

I could perfectly comfort you; here in Europe it is not slow only during peak hours, it is slow all the time .
So we are used here to some subversive tactics like:
- feeding my cats
- boiling some tea
- do a telephone calls
- roll a cigarette
- enter new playlist
- thnk a little bit
- check email
- go to toilet
- -etc. usw....

Yes, today I even saw a beatiful sundown beneath the mountains on the border of my town!

No problem at all!

I'll look into the problem and see what I can do. Apparently the company that's hosting us is hitting their bandwidth cap during peak hours.

It's not the forum, it's the banner server.

Once I added "*.ad-flow.com/*" to my WebWasher URL filter the banners disappeared and the forum started loading at normal speed.
