![]() I am a new user to Gnotella. There are two questions i will ask. Q1 -- I have spend an entire day trying to find some software. In my time searching, I have notices a great deal of bytes being exchanged between my machine and other, yet I may be only searching for one or two files. Effectively I haven't downloaded anything yet, the incomming data is still quite high. More of a concern - is that there is alot of out going data. Why is this so? If somebody is searching my systems and I - as of yet dont have any files to share, why is there so much data trying to get out? Q 2 -- Gnutella screen up test revieled to me that my 139 port is open and several of my private names are viewable. Is some body trying to hack into my system? tommalone@hotmail.com Quote:
