 Multiple Volume Files ( One Big Zip File) Whenever I do a search or whenever someone downloads a file it appears that multi part compressed files are ignored. Why is it only files with extensions "something.zip" or "anything.rar" are found and downloaded while "somthing.rxx" or "anything.cxx" are not found. If multi volume files were supported like in the newsgroups I think it would lower the failure to download files. Even with high bandwidth connections large files usually fails because the host turns off his computer or for some other reasons .  Last edited by sbt; June 24th, 2001 at 07:28 AM.  |
