Mew user- cant get a list of files

I have just installed Gnutella and I have instituted a search. The line at the bottom of the page- in blue tells me of numerous hosts etc but nothing has appeared in the main window, no list of files, gold stars - nothing, so I cannot download any think, PLEASE some one help me.
