In case you haven't noticed, the new version has a line in the gnotella.ini file that reads, "WebpageHeader=".
Anything added on that line will print out below the Gnotella logo on your web page.

Some ideas:

- Add your email address.

- Add HTML with a "mailto:xxx#zzzzzz.com" hot link.

- Add a link to a guestbook on a web site.

- Add a link to an email form on a web site.

- Post photos of your ugly neighbors with a request for donations to the Plastic Surgery Association of America.


If you sign up for a free web page at freeservers.com they give you both a guestbook and an email form you can link to. I set mine to link to the email form and it works great. Hopefully if I get a bad file out there someday, somebody will let me know about it...

i like that idea and more communication would be good. as it takes place here but directed to specific peers. however, i think that not many people will be ready to do that due the .. hm .. let's say critical content they share. critical in the meaning that most people out there do share something that might be illegal (not necessary the content, but the fact they share it). as long as there isn't a working anonymous system (even for email, not talking about sharing, yet), not many people will be willing to provide an email, which is traceable. at least i guess so ...
