Default Mp3-wav??

Can MP3 files be converted to .wav files? I have a cd burner but the files need to be .wav files, anyway to do this?

Try dBPowerAmp! It's freeware and it adds a new right-click function to Windows Explorer. Just select one or more files and right-click on them. It will also re-sample and normalize on the fly, if necessary (wav files for CDs need to be 44,000khz 16-bit.)

You can also download a bunch of other codecs that work with it, so you can convert using other encoders, like Blade, Lame, Ogg Vorbis and the Windows Media format.

When you die, if you get a choice between going to regular heaven or pie heaven,
choose pie heaven. It might be a trick, but if it's not, mmmmmmm, boy.

I think MusicMatch JukeBox can do that.

Wav files can be huge and take up a lot of space on your hard drive.

I suggest you just download a copy of "MP3 CD Maker" which will burn an audio CD directly from MP3's without first converting them to wav format.

You can get it here: http://zy2000.com

Question

Unless your audio player is capable of decoding MP3s on the fly, you'll need to burn them as wavs.
