found how to... sorry about this... i didn't see that when you click on OTHER it lets you type it in. I feel stupid.

I just hauled *** over to gnotella cause the last 2 days napster has been luggish... and this is the next best thing after napster

BUT... gnet seems messed up right now, i hope it gets better after awhile. I haven't been able to get more than 200 hosts!

Just out or curiosity, you mean you havn't been able to get 200 hosts in the host catsher right, not 200 connections.
I know alot of new people are starting to use Gnutella and I just want to make sure they don;t get overwhelmed with data if they try to connect to 200 hosts. I'm on a cable modem with a PII 450 and 5 out/3 in is a good number for me. 56k users should leave it at the default.

200 connections? do i look crazy?

i meant hosts as in the host cache, sorry im kinda new to this but i've spent many hours learning already and i feel as though im a fast learner... i still don't understand all the advanced commands and stuff (like private networks) but im getting there
