Post downloaded mp3's have skipps in them.

when ever i download mp3's i get skips in them. every time it seems.. and sometimes if i redownload them.. from the same person i get skips in the same places. im having trouble discerning if this is a network error, or a file on the other persons computer problem.

It is my belief that the problem lies with the fact that the person you are downloading from has corrupt(skipping) files. I don't believe that the fault lies in the network/transmission.

graig, this quality problem was there long before gnotella existed. Some people don't spend the time to inspect their MP3 files before sharing them. So, problem files are not weeded out and just get propagated. Might as well been one of those CUCKOO mp3 files...

How? The protocol itself can't put skips in it.
