No search returns I connect, see hosts and number of files, but none of my searches return anything. I've tried mp3, avi, and zip. These should have returned something, but nothing came up. Is there anyway for my network admin to block something like this. I noticed that trying to download with Napster is also really slow, even though web and ftp based downloads fly. |
Yes, (s)he could have blocked it. Downloads with Napster are probably slow because the person you're downloading from has a slow or saturated connection. |
How many connections do you have open? |
i'm having similar problems with my searches, but im not on a network... so nobody is restricting access to me. I'm guessing that the searches don't turn up anything cause im using a dial-up modem. Do you have to have high-speed internet access for this damn thing to work? What is up with the searches? I tried many different searches such as "mp3, metallica, zip, etc..." whats up with this? |
