Gnotella Install Replaces Newer System Files WIth Older Ones

during the Gnotella 0.73 install, a small window opened. It quickly showed system files being replaced, then it closed. I had run Windows 98 System File Checker (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SFC.EXE) before and after the install. These are the results after Gnotella installation:

These files: comcat.dll, asycfilt.dll, and olepro32.dll were replaced with older versions. scrrun.dll was replaced needlessly. scrrun.dll did not match the previous one even though it was the same version (probably MS update info differences). Every time I install something from the ‘Net, I am always worried it will make difficult to repair changes (or damage). The Gnotella writers need to use the standard Windows Installer. You should not replace ANY system files unless absolutely necessary. I would prefer you did not replace them at all and had a separate installer for the system files if required.

It took me an hour to find and restore those 4 system files. I not only had to restore them to another folder, but I had to go to MS-DOS mode to "MOVE" them into the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder. This was rather irritating. Please fix this.

As for mfc42.dll, MSVBVM60.DLL, and MSCOMCTL.OCX, I don't know if I will keep them. This is the SFC scan after the MS-DOS MOVE's:
