Every time I start gnotella .73 it states that I cannot have the same download and upload directory. Every time I set the download directory but, it just won't remember it the next time I run the software. This seems like a bug to me, anyone know the fix?

That's a known bug in version 0.73.

I had the same problem. I right-clicked on the shortcut to Gnotella and selected properties. Then I set the Working line to the directory where Gnotella was installed. If you don't do this then I think Gnotella looks in the root directory to get it's ini files and seeing none just starts up with the defaults.
