Gnotella (Windows) Gnotella has been discontinued. We highly recommend you use an actively developed client instead. |

![]() The error occurs each time I try to start: "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" The only cure was to delete the INI file and run gnotella again. I don't see how the INI file was munged because in the session prior to the INI going bad, I had exited gnotella successfully without fatal fault. |

![]() There was a post in some other group (or thread) pertaining to this... I am not an authority to give you an answer, and neither do I have one. But here is a workaround: Manually edit the gnotella.ini file and totally remove the line starting with: Code: Search_LV= -= onTy =- |

![]() Removing only the Search_LV line didn't help here, I had to take out 7 before the program started. The lines are too cryptic for me to start wondering what makes them work on win98 but not on w2k. My first solution was to delete the whole gnotella.ini file, and when Gnotella is started it'll create a new one with default settings. But to make it less brutal, removing the lines that start with Conn_LV, Host_Catch_LV, Monitor_LV, Download_LV, Download_Q_LV, and Upload_LV, will do the trick and Gnotella works again. They're probably all together and shouldn't be hard to find. |
