bad connection? configuration? I just downloaded Gnotella V.1.0.5; I've now started searching on it, but every time I click 'search' after typing in what I'm looking for, a box pops up, saying that it's trying to connect right now. I've waited almost 20 min. for it to 'connect' but nothing's happening! i learned that if the top left circle of the gnotella icon isn't blinking, it means that I have a bad connection. Is that what the problem is? I'm not too sure of anything right now...please help! |
hosts.txt You have to download a new hosts.txt file from http://www.gnotella.com/helpfile/connectproblem.phtml and replace the old one. Make a copy of the new one and leave it on a safe place. You may need to change it again. If you need more help go to http://forums.gnotella.com . There have been a lot of posts about that problem recently. Ivan "In the dark we make a brighter light" |
