Which version of Gnotella are you using? I think the bug causing that error was fixed in version 0.73.

I have version 0.73.0.1 and have been runing it sucksesfuly for ~a week, I have started getting this today any sugestions?

I'll re install and post back.

Ok I still get the error. Any chance of a debug version that provides a more usefull error?

I asume that you are using the next available file number call? Is it generating a no. of 0 or over 511?

Try downloading and installing the latest Visual Basic Runtime Library from ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/vbrun60.exe
