Can't work out how to configure WinRoute... Call me stupid, but I can't seem to configure Gnotella to work with WinRoute. I know it is another form of NAT, but if anyone with experience using WinRoute with Gnutella could hellp, it would be greatly appreciated. |

In order to allow others to get to you, Goto Settings -> Advanced -> Port Mapping Add Protocal TCP/UDP (you can probably just use TCP but I was not sure so I did both) Single Port 6346 and Destination IP your local IP where you are running GNOTELLA. I'm not sure on going out. You should not have to do anything to download stuff only to allow other to see you and download from you. I've not been able to download anything though so I could be wrong. The only reason I think I'm right is that 1) I've learned quite a bit about NAT and Firewalls recently and 2) I can connect to a host but I keep getting rejected due to the number of users already on thier system which would mean that WinRoute is doing its job but the remote computer is full of connections. Hope this helps, Don |
