private network settings

Does anyone know how to set up a private network?

Click the "setup" button, then you will notice a "Private Networks" tab. In theory, two machines with identical settings should be able to "see" only each other. However, my two machines cannot see each other... so there may be another piece missing...

I had to put the ip address of one machine as the host on the other under the host tab. Then it worked fine.
