I have the same problem. I was using Gnotella just fine and then it stopped working. I *know* it's not my ISP. *EVERY*thing else works fine. A buddy of mine indicated that you have to copy in some extraneous 'hosts' file, but I dont' think that's it. I even resorted to completely re-installing Gnotella, and it didn't change.
What is up with this?

I cannot get into it either. I have tried my Cable as well as my modem (backup) with no luck. The setup i have worked in the past so I am thinking it's a host issue at this point.

That's an option. You can download the hosts.txt file from here. You can also remove router.limewire.com from your saved hosts and add public.bearshare.net. Finally, you can also download the latest beta from here.

Smile Host's for connection.

Use these hosts in your host.txt file and make sure you have the file as read only access after you change it.
also add connect1.bearshare.net to your saved hosts configurations.

Thumbs up

this happened to me to and here is how to fix it.

1.) in "setup", make sure that you add "public.bearshare.net" to your list of saved hosts.
2.) on the main screen, change the drop-down box (to the right of the add button) to "public.bearshare.net".

good luck,

shawn
