Question Gnutella Spy?
Can anyone tell me what the gnutella spy button does on the search page. Thanks

it appears that the Spy setting just goes out and looks for servers

Lightbulb maybe it's a spy?
i am not sure about this. but my though would be that the spy monitors (spies on) the search results it gets a hand on and shows them. so it shows you what search results others have got?!?

Yes, that's exactly what it does.

When Spy is selected, you will see results scrolling down the screen. These are the results from other peoples searches that have been routed through your computer. You can pause it to stop the scrolling and do anything you can in the normal search screens including downloading the files and searching the results.
