can't connect, connections screen blank
 

I am a new user and I can't search, it doesn't give me an error message it just doesn't sya anything. I am not connected and I can't, and my connections screen is totally blank. maybe I am firewalled...what do I do about this, I have never been firewalled before when I have done similar programs...I really have no idea what I am doing, if someone could help me it would be very appreciated.

Had same problem w/ Gnotella 1.05.
public.bearshare.net had been working but quit.
hosts.txt from gnotella....... failed to produce connections.

I checked the other posts and found the correct answer is to add connect1.bearshare.net to the list of saved hosts
(See setup->network connections then use add)
From the hosts menu, I had to manually select the
connect1.bearshare.net server and click add.

Hey, i tried adding connect1.bearshare.net to the list and it worked - i can see over 1000 hosts!

hope it works for others...
