I am fairly new to the network and am still learning the program so I am hoping someone can explain something to me. I have a few files that have been sitting in my transfer box for 2 weeks now. All of them say "more hosts needed" but if I run a research on them, it says there are anywhere from 1 - 10 hosts for a particular file, but then goes back to "more hosts needed". Am I doing something wrong? The ones that find 10 hosts should download I would think. I have checked all my settings and everything looks fine and I can download other files that I try.

You can't "push" to or from another client that requires push.
You must open port 6436 on your firewall so that someone can connect to you.

In truth, you don't need to open a specific port as long as it fits within the range (4000-64000, I think). Just make sure your preferences and firewall have the same port number setting.

In fact, I'd recommend a different port, like 5201, 6799, 8562, etc. for security reasons.

Also, try searching for your criteria again and finding different versions of the file. It could be that all the versions you found before are on machines that are rarely up. It happens to me all the time.

More hosts needed means: The people who have your music are offline and you will have to wait
Sux and I think if they are not available then it shouldn't show them as being available.
